MCC stands for Motor Control Center. MCC panel contains circuit to provide power to the motors, these motors can be Air handling unit(AHU) fan motors, exhaust fan motors, and pumps motors. In Building Management System(BMS) MCC panels are connected with the DDC panels for control and monitoring of these electric motors. There are different motor starting methods including Direct Online (DOL) starter, Start-Delta Starter and Soft Starter. We discussed all three method in this video.
