BIOGRAPHY BY SHEIKHUL HADEETH SAHEBS SON - MOULANA SALAHUDDEEN SAHEB On Monday 9th March 2021, the Shaykhul Hadith of Jamia Talimul Islam at Dewsbury Markaz, Mufti Sayyed Muslihuddin Ahmad Saheb Barodwi, Qasmi passed away at approximately 4pm. "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return." [Holy Qur’an] His demise was another tragedy for the Ummah, especially for the Muslims of England. Shaykh Saheb was a very knowledgeable, wise and pious person. His entire life was dedicated to the teaching of the sacred texts. He started teaching in 1960 and remained committed to this until his final days. From the sixty years of his teaching career, for approximately 34 years, he lectured on the Sahih of Imam Al-Bukhari. Subhan Allah! What an astonishing service to the Ahadith of Rasulullah salallahu alayhi wasallam. Jamia Talimul Islam, Dewsbury, England During the latter part of 1997, Shaykh Saheb arrived in England upon the invitation of the late Hafez Patel Saheb as the Shaykhul Hadith for the Darul Uloom at Dewsbury Markaz, Jamia Talimul Islam. Shaykh Saheb continued teaching with steadfastness and dedication until his demise for a total of 22 years. He also taught Sahih Al-Bukhari at Darul Uloom Dawatul Iman in Bradford, which was another institute founded by Hafez Patel Saheb and managed by his son Mawlana Saeed Patel Saheb.
