Chris Parker | Tillsonburg Councillor | Full Interview 2026 Municipal Election

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Chris Parker, Tillsonburg Town Councillor and candidate for re-election in the 2026 municipal election, for a conversation about local politics, community priorities, and the future of Tillsonburg. Chris has served on Tillsonburg Town Council for the past eight years and is now seeking his third term. We discuss some of the biggest issues facing Tillsonburg, including municipal spending, property taxes, the relationship between the Town and Oxford County, affordable housing, recreation facilities, parks, and planning for future growth. We also get to know Chris on a more personal level, discussing his background, his involvement in the community, what he’s learned during his time on council, and what he hopes to accomplish moving forward. These interviews are about giving residents an opportunity to get to know the people representing their communities and better understand the decisions being made at the municipal level. Whether you’re from Tillsonburg or anywhere in Oxford County, I encourage you to watch and join the conversation. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
