Black History Month: Chocolate + Royal Blue Dyed Crush

As a black woman, representing my race and ethnicity is super important to me as you all know. While it it’s not my job to make blackness and melanin palatable for non-blacks, it’s always my job to represent MY blackness at all times. The idea of this theme is incorporating the color brown with bright, deep colors to represent how black people literally reflect the rainbow and while we are “black” ans “brown” we are still beautiful, bright, ans vibrant As a black woman, I am light, I am sunshine, I am bright, I am vibrant, I am colorful. I am water. I am earth. More than anything else, I am proud and grateful. Being black is one of the most colorful and unique experiences known to mankind’ and I am always filled with gratitude that I get to experience life in this way. 💙🤎
