Poet : Shabina Adeeb ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है अभी तक़ल्लुफ़ है गुफ़्तगू में अभी मोहब्बत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है अभी न आएगी नींद तुमको अभी न हमको सुकूं मिलेगा अभी तो धड़केगा दिल ज्यादा अभी ये चाहत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है बहार का आज पहला दिन है चलो चमन में टहल के आएं फ़ज़ां में खुशबू नयी नयी है गुलों पे रंगत रंगत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है जो खानदानी रईस हैं वो मिज़ा रखते हैं नरम अपना तुम्हारा लहज़ा बता रहा है तुम्हारी दौलत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है जरा सा कुदरत ने क्या नवाजा कि आके बैठे हैं पहली सफ़ में अभी से उड़ने लगे हवा में अभी तो शोहरत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई-नई है बमों की बरसात हो रही है पुराने जांबाज़ सो रहे हैं गुलाम दुनिया को कर रहा वो जिसकी ताकत नई-नई है ख़ामोश लब हैं झुकी हैं पलकें दिलों में उल्फत नई - नई है.... Shujaat Husain Khan is an Indian musician and sitar player of the Imdadkhani Gharana. He has recorded over 60 albums and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album for his work with the band Ghazal with Iranian musician Kayhan Kalhor. He also sings frequently.
