Jeep Cherokee - Extended Idle Mod(e) ['93-'01 XJ]

1993-2001 Jeep XJ 4.0L + Automatic: Extended Idle Circuit. Without a moderate amount of mechanical experience/ knowledge, this can’t be done on 1992 or older models, any 2.5L engines, or any XJ equipped with a manual transmission. The Police Package was a rare trim offered for Fleet use from 1992-2001. These XJs are distinguishable for their unique options; the Ext. Idle switch, no roof rails, larger 10” drum brakes, and 120 mph speedometer to name a few. Although not part of the standard wiring harness, it isn’t difficult to add the circuit.
