Feedel Band wish you a happy new year to all our fans and supporters ...... About Feedel Band Feedel Band take Ethiopian music and jazz and blending it into a simmering stew of musical genres, textures and feeling. They are creating, and in some cases re-creating, the musical language of what has been called 'Ethio-Jazz' and they are considered a DC treasure. Saxophonist, composer, and arranger Moges Habte was at ground zero during the Golden Age of Ethiopian Music in the Swingin' Addis days in Ethiopia and played and recorded with creme de la creme of legendary Ethiopian bands and musicians. He can be heard on the quintessential recording of 'Musicawe Silt' by Walias Band - the most covered Ethiopian song of all time. They play first Thursday of every month at Bossa Bistro.
