KHC Plays "Holdfast: Age of Sail" - The Attack on Martinique, Part 1

In the naval combat expansion for Holdfast, we'll explore the late age of classical piracy in the early 19th century, when pirates took advantage of the confusion created by the Napoleonic Wars and set out doing what they do best; plundering, pillaging, and raising hell on the high seas! This would be the final hurrah for classical pirates, as the increase in naval patrols, stabilization of Latin America, and the rise of admiralty courts would bring an end to traditional piracy by the 1830s. In 1810, as the British and French clash with each other in the Caribbean during the Napoleonic Wars, former British privateers turned pirates take advantage of the confusion and attempt to seize Fort Saint Louis on the island of Martinique. The French Navy attempts to blockade the incoming pirate fleet from arriving at the island and a huge sea battle ensues.
