I Thought Replanting These Would Be Easy… 🌿

What I thought would be a simple afternoon of digging up two gardenia bushes turned into a several-day garden rescue. 🌿 These gardenias have been growing beside our house for years, but they’ve been struggling, whiteflies have moved in, and I decided it was finally time to dig them up and give them a fresh start. Except… they did NOT want to come out of the ground. 😂 It took us several days to finally get them dug up, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, a storm came out of absolutely nowhere and completely drenched me. The bigger dream is to eventually turn these old gardenias into bonsai—which may or may not work, but I love the idea of taking something we already have and giving it an entirely new life. Now they’re finally in pots…and naturally I’m already wondering if I made another mistake because I think the pots might be too small. 🤦‍♀️ So this experiment is definitely not over yet. 🌱 CULTIVATE • 🎨 CREATE • ✨ CONNECT Life isn’t found.
