Everything You Skip In Veg, You Pay For In Flower

Most deficiency problems in flower were made in veg. Elliott Gorfain and James Marlier of Impello Biosciences on why the fix has to happen before you flip, not after. The argument is stress budgeting. You stress a plant on purpose to push it in a direction, but you do not stress it too long, too hard, or stack unproductive stress on top of it. In veg that means a periodic hard dryback to root them out, and then treating the three weeks of stretch as the comfort window: lights down a touch, humidity up, foliar work and chelated calcium. Then day 21 is the flip into deliberate stress, and by then your pest and disease work has to already be done. The part growers get wrong is spending thousands on flower lights and running cheap lights in veg. Veg hides deficiencies. Flower exposes them, because flower is when the plant is under load. Elliott puts it plainly: flower is the fight, and if you did not do your training camp correctly, you are going to get your ass whooped. There is also the reason biostimulants matter indoors at all. Outdoors a stressed plant releases volatile organic compounds and calls in predators. In an indoor monocrop nobody hears it. We removed the plant from the ecosystem that used to help it, so we have to step in.
