For this recipe, I added **coconut milkand pandan essence into the cookie dough to bring out that familiar Onde-Onde flavour. I used only a small amount of Gula Melaka on top because I wanted to keep these cookies **less sweet**. However, you can definitely add more Gula Melaka according to your taste — the extra palm sugar will give you a richer, deeper sweetness in every bite and make the cookies even more indulgent. The combination of fragrant pandan, coconut and Gula Melaka makes these cookies especially delicious and perfect for the festive season. They are also completely eggless, making them a lovely addition to a Deepavali cookie platter or homemade festive gift box.
