First Time at Imola in a McLaren GT3… Not My Best, But We Learn

This video marks my first ever laps around the legendary Imola Circuit in Assetto Corsa, driving the McLaren GT3 on a full racing simulator setup. I’ll be honest—the laps aren’t perfect 😅 missed braking points, messy lines, and a lot of learning happening in real time. But that’s all part of the process. Imola is a technical, unforgiving track, and jumping into it for the first time in a GT3 car is no joke. This session is all about learning the track layout, understanding the McLaren’s handling, and starting the journey toward cleaner, faster, and more consistent lap times. Expect improvement as the laps go on—and plenty more to come in future videos. I’m using a Logitech G29 racing wheel and pedals, giving a realistic sim-racing experience with force feedback that really lets you feel where you’re pushing too hard (or not enough).
