The Feast of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a high mountain to pray. As they watched, His face shone like the sun and His clothes became dazzling white. Then Moses and Elijah appeared, speaking with Him. A bright cloud covered them, and God the Father said, *"This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen to Him."* (Matthew 17:5) This feast teaches us that Jesus is truly the Son of God. His divine glory was revealed to strengthen His disciples' faith before His suffering on the Cross.
