Every Engine Died At Once in One Texas Town...

Late on 2 November 1957, a farm worker called the police in Levelland, Texas. A glowing object had passed over his truck, he said, and the engine had died until it was gone. The officer on duty thought it was a joke. Within a few hours, around fifteen more calls had come in, from drivers all around the town, the fire chief and the county sheriff, describing lights on the road and engines that stopped and started again. The Air Force sent one sergeant, blamed ball lightning, and wrote that the first man to call couldn't be relied upon. Small Town Sightings covers real, documented American UFO cases — and what reporting them cost the people who did. #Levelland #Texas #UFO
