Mozart Allegro from Sonata in C major K545 - ABRSM Grade 6 Piano 2027 & 2028 - List A2

🎹 Mozart Allegro from Sonata in C Major, K.545 | ABRSM Grade 6 Piano 2027 & 2028 | List A2 Watch a top-down piano performance of Mozart’s famous Allegro from Sonata in C Major, K.545, from the ABRSM Grade 6 Piano 2027 & 2028 syllabus, List A2. The overhead view allows you to clearly see the hands, keyboard and playing technique throughout the piece. One of Mozart’s most famous piano melodies, this movement sounds wonderfully simple and elegant, with a characteristic Alberti bass accompaniment. Although the sonata is often known as “Sonata facile” (“easy sonata”), the Allegro is anything but easy to play well! It requires considerable technical control, evenness, clarity, articulation, balance and musical phrasing from the pianist. This video is ideal for ABRSM Grade 6 piano students who are learning this piece and want to hear the complete work while also being able to observe the pianist’s hands and keyboard technique from above. 🎼 Piece: Allegro from Sonata in C Major, K.545 🎓 ABRSM Grade 6 Piano 2027 & 2028: List A2 🎹 Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 🎹 Piano: Yamaha G2 Grand Piano 🎥 Performer: Salome Wepener If you are preparing for the ABRSM Grade 6 Piano exam, I hope this performance helps you become familiar with Mozart K.545 and gives you inspiration for your own interpretation and practice. 👍 Please like and subscribe to be notified of new videos.
