Blackbushe Drag Racing 1970

Drag Racing returned to Blackbushe for the first time since the '64 & '65 International Dragfests when the NDRC organised the Custom Car Trophy Dragfest in June 1970. Santa Pod brought along Commuter, Gloworm and the Wheelie Stingray, Dennis Priddle was having teething troubles in the new Quartermaster while Dave Lee Travis was enjoying himself in the Church brother's Bucket T.
