Mukutmanipur is knownasqueen of Bankura. It is the 2nd largest earthen dam of India. IN Mukutmanipur one can visit Musafirana view point, Pareshnath Shiv Mandir, Pareshnath Kali Mandir, Deer park, Sonar Bangla Park, Confections of Kumari and Kansabati rivers, Sabuj Dweep (Green Island) Etc. You can do the entire sightseeing by boat or divide the first half of journey as a road trip by toto and in the 2nd half one can enjoy the boat ride. The road trip from Mukutmanipur to Joypur Forest is very Scenic. The road passes through the dense forest and gives you breathtaking view of various known and unknown forests. Lastly we ended our trip by having our lunch at Banalata Resort. The food was delicious and the price was affordable.
