Walt Disney's Fantasia ~ Night on Bald Mountain/Ave Maria/Outro/Epilogue

Hello everyone, at long last, we come to the end of celebrating Fantasia’s 80th anniversary with this video, Night on Bald Mountain & Ave Maria! John Culhane held nothing back in describing every detail about creating this climatic chapter of Walt Disney’s masterpiece. Everything from Bill Tytla’s legendary animation of the main demon, Chernabog - or Satan as Disney called him - to the time-crunching frustrations of animating the scenes in Ave Maria, this was the kind of stuff that even got Walt Disney himself hot under the collar. In this video, you’ll see an in-depth look of how the original story of “Night on Bald Mountain” came to be, how the Ave Maria sequence would play out in the religious sense, and how the legacy of Fantasia would cement its lofty place in the history of both film and animation! Not only that, but you'll get a brief mention of an unused animated segment of Fantasia, Debussy's Claire de Lune, which would later end up in Make Mine Music, 6 years later, with a different piece of music, Blue Bayou. Once you’ve come to near the end of the video, you’ll see a little epilogue I made regarding the later careers of all the Fantasia directors, Deems Taylor and Leopold Stokowski. This may not be a Marvel series, but there’s a little post-credit scene I cooked up at the very end so don’t forget to check that out!!
