Countless hours were spent writing, filming, editing, and creating something we hoped fellow fans would enjoy. Your support, comments, and encouragement are a huge part of why we kept making them. Now we’re taking the biggest step we’ve ever taken. We’re creating our first original feature film: NEW RELEASE. NEW RELEASE follows a group of friends working at a struggling local video store who discover a forgotten collection of Betamax tapes tied to an unfinished film from decades earlier. As they follow the clues left behind, they uncover long-buried secrets that pull them into a mystery far bigger—and more dangerous—than they ever imagined. Inspired by our own lives and friendships, we wanted to capture the feeling of nostalgia, the bonds that survive the passage of time, and the excitement of one last adventure with the people who know you best. At its heart, NEW RELEASE is a story about friendship, growing up, chasing creative dreams, and learning how to honor the past without getting trapped in it. Independent filmmaking is a huge undertaking, and we’re asking for your help to bring this story to life. If you’d like to support the project, every contribution—no matter the size—helps us pay for equipment, locations, practical effects, props, and post-production. If you can’t donate, sharing the campaign means just as much. Thank you for supporting our fan films over the years. We truly couldn’t have gotten this far without you, and we can’t wait to share NEW RELEASE with you. https://gofund.me/147c05f12
