Riversea City Presentation Video (Conceptual review of automation appraisal)

Good morning, everyone and welcome to the question-and-answer section of the Riversea city automating appraisal review. This is a conceptual presentation for assessment. I am Kate, a junior records manager for Riversea government and this is our senior records manager, Wendy. As Wendy has informed you all, the city is exploring automation of our appraisal process for record retention. As staff of this city and stakeholders in this government we all need to jointly be informed of the impact this review will have, and jointly responsible for following appraisal policy in the best interests of our constituents under the State Records Act 2000 (2025, p. 6). I will contribute a few questions and answers surrounding the appraisal automation. I’ll cover the benefits and risks of automation, especially regarding metadata and description.
