Grazie Papà Presentation of THE VOICE OF ACCORDION with short extracts from the tracks of my new CD, soon to be published and fully dedicated to the accordion with original compositions and my personal arrangements and transcriptions of famous authors I made this musical work using only the accordion and was for a long time that I wanted to do it. It 'was the instrument with which I started playing with my dad Federico sadly passed away recently. I have used various techniques of execution and sound procesing, alone or in overdubbing, sometimes also with insertions of simple percussion on the body of the instrument and bellows but without any addition of other acoustic or electronic musical instrument: a personal challenge to the research of sounds and atmospheres only using the accordion. If I still can continue to live this magical world of vibrations I owe it to him Thanks Dad Apr 2014 - Piero Mortara
