Nossob Eco Trail [Kgalagadi in the Rain Ep 1]

This year we visited the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park straddling the border between South Africa and Botswana at the end of the rainy season in a good rain year. The grass was lush, green and tall which sometimes complicated game viewing but it was good to see another face of the Kgalagadi. The focus of this episode is on the Sanparks guided Nossob Eco Trail. the video should give you an idea of what to expect. Although the focus of the trail in not on game viewing, we experienced a game viewing highlight when a male lion came walking through our campsite in the middle of a thunderstorm. And speaking of thunder storms - we experienced some spectacular ones during this trip. A personal highlight was when I could at last successfully photograph and video Springboks "pronking" or stotting. 0:00 Intro 0:48 Pronking Springboks 3:32 Birdlife 4:57 Start of Nossob Eco Trail 8:31 Witgat campsite 09:58 Lion in camp in a thunderstorm 11:11 Nossob Eco Trail Day 2 15:59 Rosyntjiebos campsite 17:41 Nossob Eco Trail Day 3 18:22 Big Bertha Dune 22:18 Swartbas campsite 23:10 Nossob Eco Trail Day 4 Credits Pirates Of The Quarantine by Alexander Nakarada (CreatorChords) | https://creatorchords.com Music promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.com Creative Commons / Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
