From Belarus to Canada: My Life in Ballroom Dance _Slava Chizhik.

You’ve seen me on the dance floor. Now, get to know the person behind the dancing. I’m Slava Chizhik, a professional ballroom dance teacher and the founder of Canada Dancing Stars and Slava Chizhik Dance Academy. In this personal interview, I share my journey from Belarus to Canada, my life in dance, the projects I’ve been part of, and how I built my teaching community and online academy. We talk about my background, my students, and my work teaching Latin, Standard and American Smooth — and what dance means to me beyond the steps. Filmed by my daughter, Aleksandra. ❤️ What would you like to know more about — my dance journey, life in Canada, or teaching?
