When Wildlife Reacts to a Mirror | Australia

All footage in this video was filmed by Epic Aussie Encounters using privately operated trail cameras. For this project, I placed a large mirror beside a creek in the Australian bush. What followed was some of the most unusual footage, with different species approaching, investigating and reacting to the mirror in very different ways. The footage documents spontaneous wildlife behaviour without direct human interaction, as animals encounter an unfamiliar reflection in their environment. Some reactions are immediate, while others develop into much longer periods of investigation.
