Here's a video in a series on the vintage Dynacord Echocord Super, Model S62, an analog tube-based tape echo from the 1960s. This video describes the parts needed to undertake one of the most common service steps when working with vintage electronic equipment, yes, we are talking about replacing the machines capacitors, a process commonly described as “recapping”. We’ll examine some of the capacitors in this machine and describe some of the ways in which they can fail.
