10 Rap Songs That Were Rejected Before Becoming Classics

HipHopHistory #KanyeWest #WuTangClan This is a hip hop video. It is about famous rap songs that record labels said no to first. It is about rap history. One song is "Through the Wire" by Kanye West. His record label let him make beats but they would not let him rap. Then he crashed his car and broke his jaw. Doctors wired his mouth shut. Two weeks later he recorded the song with his jaw still wired. You can hear it in his voice. One song is "C.R.E.A.M." by Wu-Tang Clan. A record label had the chance to sign Wu-Tang. They said no and signed a different group instead. One song is "Dead Presidents" by Jay-Z. Every record label said no to him. So he made his own company and sold CDs out of his car. One song is "Get At Me Dog" by DMX. His first label dropped him. He disappeared for five years. Then he came back and had two number one albums in the same year. One song is "Juicy" by The Notorious B.I.G. Biggie did not want to make this song. He thought it was too soft. Puff Daddy made him do it anyway. It became one of the most famous rap songs ever. This video also talks about Eminem, Mobb Deep, Nas, Run-D.M.C., and the Sugarhill Gang. If you like 90s hip hop, old school rap, rap documentaries, hip hop history, or stories about famous rappers, this video is for you. Which rejection shocked you the most?
