In this episode of Faith, Policy and Purpose, we take listeners on the road to Southwest Virginia, where VICPP recently hosted multiple Interfaith Justice Revivals, bringing together diverse faith traditions in shared pursuit of justice.
Hosted by Roberta Oster, VICPP's Communications Director, this conversation features Communications Coordinator Amanda Kline Roberson and Faith Organizing Director Sheila Herlihy Hennessee, who both traveled to SWVA for the revivals. Listen as they reflect on what it meant to gather people across faith traditions to explore how each tradition understands and pursues justice, and share stories from their conversations with SWVA residents about the everyday struggles their communities face. This episode offers a window into what interfaith organizing looks like on the ground, and why showing up in community, tradition by tradition, matters.
