Dinosaur egg X-ray update

In my last video, I took a possible dinosaur egg to a medical CT scanner to see what might be hiding inside. The scans revealed some very interesting structures, including features that could potentially be bones. But looking at individual CT slices only tells part of the story. In this update, I take the CT scan data and show how hundreds of individual slices can be combined to create a 3D model of what is inside the egg. By isolating different densities within the scan, we can start reconstructing the internal structures and viewing them from angles that simply aren't possible with normal X-rays. Can we actually turn the CT data into a 3D shape? And will that help us work out whether the structures I spotted really could be bones from an embryo? This is another step in trying to answer the big question: is this a genuine dinosaur egg, and is there something preserved inside it?
