Hello😍 Today you can see my daily routine life from Morning to Night in village👧 My routine rural lifestyle as a country Woman is now different from when I was in the city! These are the last few nights this year that we’ll be sleeping outdoors in the garden, savoring the freedom and freshness of the open air—the weather is turning cold, so it’s time to move back inside. We woke up at 6:00 AM to the sounds of our chickens, roosters, and the local birds. After washing up, I applied a bit of makeup, brushed my hair, and got ready for a pleasant, peaceful, and productive day ahead. I brewed tea using our old samovar*, and with Aran’s help, we prepared breakfast. Aran picked up some fresh *sangak bread from a nearby bakery; we enjoyed a wholesome, hearty breakfast, chatted, and planned out our day. Our first task after breakfast was feeding the chickens, roosters, dogs, and cats that live in the garden. Afterward, we spent time harvesting walnuts from the trees—we had such a good laugh doing it! Whenever there’s a lot of work to be done in the garden, I make it a habit to prepare lunch and tea right there on-site; it allows me to manage everything efficiently while fully soaking up the rural atmosphere. We truly love living in the countryside. I swept a brick-paved area in the garden, which became my makeshift kitchen for cooking and brewing tea. For lunch, I prepared a traditional, vegetarian Iranian dish called Kal Kabab (from the Gilan region), served with rice. It’s a delicious combination of rice, roasted eggplant, pomegranate seeds, pomegranate juice, walnuts, garlic, various spices, and fresh herbs. The pomegranates and walnuts came straight from our own garden! Aran lit a fire to roast the eggplants, and he used the hot coals to get our vintage charcoal samovar going as well. I decided to cook the rice on our nostalgic kerosene stove. Today, Aran completely cleaned, washed, and restored the chicken coop—he even painted the door! After we had lunch in the yard, I went inside to rest for a bit; then, using some tiny pomegranates and jewelry findings I had on hand, I crafted a pair of earrings and an autumn-themed brooch. Later in the afternoon, I harvested tomatoes, chili peppers, bell peppers, and rosemary from the garden. I used these to make two types of preserves—blending sun-dried and roasted tomatoes with olive oil and spices—which are perfect for cooking or serving as appetizers. Before that, I watered the autumn crops I had planted in the garden. To end the evening, I whipped up a healthy, delicious Gluten-free brownie using dark chocolate, sesame tahini, apple molasses, and a few other ingredients. We enjoyed it in the yard alongside some herbal tea, listening to the sounds of crickets and the calls of animals near and far, soaking in the tranquility of the night. I absolutely love this life!❤️😊 And these things are a part of my routine rural lifestyle as a country woman in Iran. I hope you enjoy this video, and learn and prepare these very delicious dishes.
