Jean-Michel Jarre is a French composer, one of the pioneers of electronic music, playing mainly synthesizers, author and director of grandiose light shows. He gained worldwide popularity thanks to the album Oxygene (1976), which became an electronic music classic. The material for the DVD was filmed at an anniversary concert, for which the performer used his collection of vintage synthesizers. The live performance of "Oxygene" was reportedly accompanied by three musicians - Francis Rimbert, Claude Samard and Dominique Perrier. Thus, it was possible to recreate the original sound of the tracks, requiring eight hands. In addition to the tracks from the album, the musician also presented four new compositions during the concert.
