Here is the thing that took me way too long to learn: the December you are going to have is not actually decided in December. It gets decided, usually without you realizing it, back in September. In this video, I am walking you through the exact three things I am working on in my own family photography business right now, and how each one directly shapes what your holiday season and your slow first quarter are going to feel like. We are talking about knowing your December number so you stop saying yes to sessions out of fear, sowing long-form marketing seeds now for the clients who will not need you for another six months, and deciding on purpose whether you are running a Black Friday offer this year instead of panic posting something the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
