Hide Me, Rock Of Ages (Version 1) - Blackwood Brothers (1949)

Hey Y'all! Back again with another Blackwood Brothers recording to share with everyone today. Here is the gospel quartet classic "Hide Me Rock Of Ages", featuring Bill Lyles on some low notes. This was issued on their personal label under disc no. 1152. This version includes Cat Freeman and Hilton Griswold and was taken directly from a 78 in my collection. There are later takes of both sides of disc no. 1152 that include Bill Shaw and Jack Marshall, which I will post later. Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy!
