Oleg Palymski (*1966): Percepţie (Perception). Sinfonietta for 12 instruments (1995, rev. 2010)

Oleg Palymski (Олег Палымский) was born on July 20, 1966, in Magadan in the Russian Far East. In Chişinău (Moldova) he graduated from the "Gavriil Musicescu" Academy of Music (which today is part of the AMTAP: Academia de Muzică, Teatru şi Arte Plastice), majoring in musicology (1991), composition (1993) and piano (1998). Since the 1990s, he played an important role for contemporary music in the Republic of Moldova, as a composer, pianist and conductor. He was a permanent member of the "Ars poetica" ensemble, which he conducted very often, participating in important new music festivals all over Europe and Asia. In 2012 he moved to Moscow.
