Punjab News | Raja Warring Out, Who Gets Congress Crown? Amit Shah’s Signal & Waris Punjab De Row

Punjab politics is witnessing major developments as Amarinder Singh Raja Warring steps down as Punjab Congress president, triggering questions over who will take charge of the state unit ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Reports indicate that several names are being discussed for the post. In this discussion, Host Vijay Saini and Co-Host Deepak Sharma Chanarthal examine the latest Punjab political developments, including the Congress leadership change, Amit Shah’s latest statements and political signals, and developments involving BJP leader Ravneet Singh Bittu and the Akali leadership. The programme also looks at Akali Dal (Waris Punjab De) and the latest legal-political controversy. The Election Commission of India has told the Delhi High Court that it has concerns related to national security while considering the organisation’s application for political-party registration. The matter remains before the court and the ECI has not rejected the application on that basis. The discussion further examines reports and claims about Punjab’s law-and-order situation and alleged forced cremations, putting the historical 1980s–90s comparison into context. Watch the full discussion for the latest Punjab News, Punjab Politics, Punjab Congress, Raja Warring, Amit Shah, Ravneet Bittu, Akali Dal, Waris Punjab De, ECI, National Security and 2027 Punjab Elections updates.
