The Mission of IOS - International Orphanages & Schools - Petit Goave, Haiti

It is the mission of I.O.S to establish a hub in Petit Goave to train and educate the local residents and provide a home for the many orphans. Not only do we want to share the Gospel with the people of Haiti, but we want to equip them to build a better life for themselves. The plan is to equip local pastors, teachers, and leaders the resources they need to change their community from the inside out. I.O.S has been presented with an exciting opportunity to purchase a piece of land with facilities that can be used immediately training and working in the city of Petit Goave. This will also be the location used to establish the orphanage in the near future. The cost is $250,000 for the property with $150,000 of that needed by the end of January. The remaining balance will be due six months from the time of the initial downpayment. Our immediate goal is to purchase this piece of property that has come available. The property we are presenting is safe, quiet, close to downtown Petit Goave, and large enough to begin several self-sustaining jobs and resources for the local people. It also has a four-bedroom house along with a caretaker residence on the property allowing us to immediately bring teams in to begin the work.
