The Vision David Saw | Psalm 22 Christian Song | Cross, Resurrection & the Lamb | Deep Catholic

King David sang of a suffering King and a coming glory. In this song, Jesus prays David's Psalm 22 on the cross: the parched tongue, the pierced hands, the lots cast for his garment. Then the third day dawns, the Church gathers, and the Lamb is enthroned before every nation, where death, tears and grief are done. Lyrics [Chorus] The vision David saw, O Lord, Was cross and rising day; Your people gathered, one in you, A life none takes away. [Pre-Chorus] The psalm you prayed on Calvary, Before you, Lamb, I sing. [Verse 1] You spoke the words King David wrote, Your tongue was parched and sore; They nailed your hands upon the hill, Cast lots for what you wore. [Verse 2] The third day dawned, and you arose, The Father's name you said; Your Church now lifts her thankful song, As Host, the poor are fed. [Verse 3] The nations bow before your face, Each tribe and tongue as one; O Lamb enthroned, you shine in light, Death, tears, and grief are done.
