Electrasy - Renegades from Monkey Bone (original 1999 demo)

Here’s the original version of the song ‘Renegades’ we wrote in 1998/99, which ultimately got us signed to Arista Records, became a pivotal track for our band. It was a raw, emotionally charged piece that perfectly captured our sound and vision. We spent countless nights in our makeshift studio, honing the melody and lyrics until it resonated with a powerful sense of yearning and defiance. The energy of the song was undeniable, and it quickly caught the attention of Arista Records, leading to our signing and the song's inclusion on our second album, "In Here We Fall." On "In Here We Fall," the song appeared in a slightly different version, showcasing our growth and refined production skills. The reimagined track retained its original spirit but with added layers and a polished arrangement that elevated it to new heights. Its success didn't stop there; the song was also featured on the soundtrack of the film "Monkeybone" staring Brendan Fraser, Bridget Fonda, Chris Kattan, Giancarlo Esposito, Rose McGowan, Whoopi Goldberg and John Turturro. The fun, invigorating nature of the track perfectly complemented the film's tone, adding a new dimension to our music's reach. This exposure brought our work to a broader audience, solidifying the song's place in our legacy and marking a significant milestone in our career. 🔔 Subscribe for more rare shares! 💬 Leave a comment if you like this song. 🎸 Follow Electrasy: @electrasymusic on all socials www.electrasy.online #Electrasy #Monkey Bone #90sMusic #rockandroll #rockmusic
