Can you tell the difference between あります and います? And when should you use が vs は? 🇯🇵
Welcome back to Jay’s Japanese Diary! Today is Day 16 of my Japanese-learning journey, and I’m studying Minna no Nihongo Lesson 10.
📚 In this lesson, I learned:
N が あります/います — Something or someone exists
Place に N が あります/います — Saying what exists in a place
N は Place に あります/います — Saying where something or someone is
N₁ の N₂ — Describing positions and locations
N₁ や N₂ — Listing examples
🐱 I’m also exploring the difference between 猫が and 猫は. I’m still a beginner, so I’m learning one lesson at a time and sharing the real process along the way.
I’m not a Japanese teacher—just an ordinary guy trying to improve my Japanese every day!
