A father continues his search for his missing son from the Left Front era. The High Court has recommended a CBI investigation to trace him. The young man went missing from Behala on April 18, 2011. The family has alleged that they could not find their son despite the investigation during the Trinamool Congress-led government. The police closed the investigation in 2020 after failing to trace him, including through CCTV footage. The court has now recommended a fresh CBI investigation to locate the missing man. A Division Bench headed by Justice Debangsu Basak intends to hand over the investigation to the CBI on October 6.
