This holiday weekend brought record-breaking, grocery shopping, fresh flowers, a surprise bouquet from my daughter's friend, and even a brief power outage. We made the best of the day, slowed down when the heat became too much, and simply enjoyed the little moments together. The following day brought much-needed rain and cooler weather. After such an exhausting day in the heat, I embraced a slower pace and ended the weekend by making a refreshing watermelon and strawberry juice. Thank you for spending another quiet weekend with me.
