[Verse 1]
Angam hareh pulaka-bhushanam ashrayanti
Bhringangeneva mukulabharanam tamalam |
Angikritakhila vibhutir apanga-leela
Mangalyadastu mama mangala-devatayah ||
Meaning: Just as a female honeybee hovers around a dark tamala tree filled with blossoms, the glance of Goddess Lakshmi rests upon the dark form of Lord Hari, causing him ecstatic joy. May the auspicious glance of that supreme Goddess grant me eternal fortune.
[Verse 2]
Mugdha muhur vidadhati vadane murareh
Prema-trapa-pranihitani gatagatani |
Mala drishor madhukariva mahotpale ya
Sa me shriyam dishatu sagara-sambhavayah ||
Meaning: Her shy and loving glances repeatedly move toward Lord Murari’s face and withdraw gently, resembling a garland of black bees hovering over a blue lotus. May that Goddess born of the milky ocean bestow wealth upon me.
[Verse 3]
Vishwamarendra-padavibhrama-dana-daksham
Ananda-hetur adhikam mura-vidvisho api |
Eeshan nisheedatu mayi kshanam eekshanardham
Indeevarodara-sahodaram indirayah ||
Meaning: Her glance is capable of granting the celestial throne of Indra to mortals and brings supreme joy to Lord Vishnu. May that half-glance of Indira, which resembles the deep hue of a blue lotus petal, rest upon me for a moment.
[Verse 4]
Aameelitaaksham adhigamya muda mukundam
Ananda-kandam animasham ananga-tantram |
Aakekara-sthita-kaneenika-pakshma-netram
Bhootyai bhaven mama bhujanga-shayananganayah ||
Meaning: When she gazes at Mukunda, whose eyes are half-closed in divine bliss, her own eyes remain fixed in deep love. May the side-glance of the consort of Lord Vishnu, who reclines on the serpent bed, bring me everlasting prosperity.
[Verse 5]
Bahvantare madhu-jitah shrita-kaustubhe ya
Haravaleeva hari-neelamayee vibhati |
Kama-prada bhagavato api kataksha-mala
Kalyanam aavahatu me kamalalayah ||
Meaning: Resting upon the chest of the conqueror of Madhu near the sparkling Kaustubha gem, her glance shines like a garland of sapphires. May that gracious glance of Goddess Lakshmi, dwelling in the lotus, bring auspiciousness into my life.

Kalam-budali-lalitorasi kaitabhareh
Dharadhare sphurati ya tadid-angeneva |
Matus samasta-jagatam mahaneeya-moortih
Bhadrani me dishatu bhargava-nandanayah ||
Meaning: Like a brilliant streak of golden lightning flashing across dark rainclouds, her divine presence shines against the broad chest of Lord Vishnu. May the venerable Mother of all worlds, daughter of Sage Bhrigu, bestow welfare upon me.
[Verse 7]
Praaptam padam prathmatah khalu yat-prabhavat
Mangalya-bhaji madhu-mathini manmathena |
Mayy aapatet tad iha mantharam eekshanardham
Mandalasam cha makaralaya-kanyakayah ||
Meaning: Through whose divine power the Lord of Love (Manmatha) achieved his supreme status in the heart of Lord Vishnu, may that gentle, graceful glance of the daughter of the ocean fall upon me.
[Verse 8]
Dadyad dayanupavano dravinambu-dharam
Asminn akimchana vihanga-shishau vishanne |
Dushkarma-gharmam apaneeya chiraya dooram
Narayana-pranayinee-nayanambu-vahaha ||
Meaning: May the cloud of compassion in the eyes of Narayana's beloved release a rain of wealth upon this helpless bird-like soul, permanently washing away the intense heat of accumulated past sins.

Ishta vishishta-matayo api yaya dayardra
Drishtya trivishtapa-padam sulabham labhante |
Drishtih prahrishta-kamalodara-deeptir ishtam
Pushtim krisheeshta mama pushkara-vishtarayah ||
Meaning: Wise and devoted seekers easily attain celestial realms through her compassionate glance. May that radiant glance, glowing like the center of a fresh blossoming lotus, fulfill my prayers and grant me fulfillment.

Geer-devateti garudadhwaja-sundareeti
Shakambhareeti shashi-shekhara-vallabheeti |
Srishti-sthiti-pralaya-keleshu samsthitayai
Tasyai namas tribhuvanaika-guros tarunyai ||
Meaning: She who is known as Goddess Saraswati during creation, Goddess Lakshmi during preservation, and Goddess Parvati during dissolution; salutations to that eternal power, the consort of the supreme protector of the three worlds.

Shrutyai namo astu shubha-karma-phala-prasootyai
Ratyai namo astu ramaneeya-gunarnavayai |
Shaktyai namo astu shata-patra-niketanayai
Pushtyai namo astu purushottama-vallabhayai ||
Meaning: Salutations to her who is the essence of the Vedas and the giver of good deeds; salutations to the ocean of delightful virtues; salutations to the divine power residing in a hundred-petaled lotus; salutations to the beloved of Purushottama.
