My Arrma Talion 6S EXB In The Rain

Rain, mud, big jumps… and an Arrma Talion 6S EXB that apparently has a death wish! Today I’m taking my heavily upgraded Talion EXB out for another RC adventure, and the weather could not have been worse. But of course, a little rain has never stopped me before. After all the problems, broken parts and upgrades this Talion has been through, I’ve developed a bit of a love-hate relationship with this car. I even turned it into a serious competition racer and used it in our club championship. But today, it’s time to forget about racing and see what this Talion can really handle! We head to a brand-new bashing spot with a small jump and one BIG jump. With plenty of airtime, hard landings and some serious abuse, I’m hoping the Talion will survive the day. Of course, things don’t start perfectly. A fully charged battery suddenly feels like it’s dying… until I discover that one of the battery cells has actually given up. After swapping the battery, it’s finally time for some proper bashing! The Talion takes jump after jump and, surprisingly, holds together incredibly well. The only casualties are a broken steering linkage screw and, yes… the pinion coming loose AGAIN! But considering the amount of punishment this car takes, I’ll call that a pretty successful day. Now all that’s left is to take this muddy monster home and give it the spa treatment it definitely didn’t ask for.
