Nintendo Reminded Me Why I Love Gaming

A little over a month ago, I bought a Nintendo Switch OLED while travelling in Thailand, mainly because I finally wanted to experience Breath of the Wild. Now, somehow, I already own a Switch 2 as well. At first that probably sounds completely unnecessary, especially when I already have a PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X at home. But the more time I spend with Nintendo, the more each system has started finding its own place in how I play games. My Switch OLED is becoming my travel companion for flights, work trips, hotels and shorter gaming sessions, while the Switch 2 is becoming the system I keep at home for games like Breath of the Wild and eventually Tears of the Kingdom. And somewhere along the way, Nintendo has reminded me about a side of gaming I think I'd forgotten. This isn't really about which console is better. It is about having different ways to enjoy the hobby, and finally understanding where the Switch fits into my gaming life.
