SEA SHANTY - Roll The Old Chariot (with Lyrics) | Piano Cover by Paul Hankinson

♫ SHEET MUSIC: https://www.musicnotes.com/l/kRCFS 🐋 I hope you like my epic piano arrangement of this catchy sea shanty "ROLL THE OLD CHARIOT" - also known as "A DROP OF NELSON'S BLOOD". I included the lyrics so be sure to sing along - there are even some dance breaks! This cover was inspired by David Coffin's powerful performance of this song - he really has the perfect voice for Sea Shanties! After covering "Wellerman", "Drunken Sailor" and "Leave Her, Johnny" I'm really in the mood to create more of these Sea Shanty arrangements! I've always loved playing in this folk or celtic style so these are currents I'm really happy to sail in! I'm planning to make enough for a Spotify album. Do you have a favourite Shanty or Sea Song? Let me know in the comments below. I think I'll do 10 or 12 of them. Also if you feel inclined to make up your own lyrics for the last verse please type them in the comments! I want to encourage you all to sing and be creative during this time! And for the pianists ..... the sheet music should be available at Musicnotes on Monday! I'll post the link. INTERESTING FACT: After his victory at the Battle of Trafalgar, Admiral Nelson's body was preserved in a cask of brandy, or rum, to allow transport back to England. The ‘Nelson’s blood’ referred to in the song is a nickname for rum! ♫ Please Subscribe (and click the 🔔 to be notified of new videos!) -▸ https://www.youtube.com/PaulHankinson... ♫ Listen to my SEA SHANTY PLAYLIST -▸    • Paul Hankinson | Shanties & Songs of the S...   ♫ SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3TxND... ♫ TUTORIAL:    • WELLERMAN (Sea Shanty) | Piano Tutorial (S...   ♫ FACEBOOK: -▸   / hankinsonmusic   ♫ INSTAGRAM -▸   / hankinsonmusic   ♫ WEBSITE -▸ https://www.hankinsonmusic.com ♫ BUY ME A COFFEE -▸ https://www.buymeacoffee.com/PaulHank... ♫ TUTORIAL CHANNEL (new) -▸    / @paulhankinsontutorials   ♫ Learn to play piano with FLOWKEY -▸ https://tinyurl.com/PHankinson-flowkey ♫ WATCH DAVID COFFIN'S uplifting performance here:    • David Coffin - "Roll the Old Chariot"   ht...   contact for enquiries: hankinsonmusic@gmail.com #RollTheOldChariot #SeaShanty #ShantyTok
