Deontological Ethics: Should We Always Obey the Rules?

This video provides an overview of Deontological Ethics (as developed by Immanuel Kant). Specifically, I introduce Kant's concept of a "maxim" (a rule for action) and discuss how he thought we can distinguish between morally good maxims (rules we ought to follow) and morally bad maxims (rules we should never follow).
