Hello Control Freaks! 🤍💚 Welcome back to Master of Control MTG! Today's video features a powerful Selesnya Control deck that combines defensive control tools with an explosive late-game engine. This deck is built around Caretaker's Talent, Fountainport, and a powerful lineup of Planeswalkers including Elspeth, Storm Slayer, Vivien Reid, and Ajani, Outland Chaperone. Instead of simply controlling the battlefield, this deck slowly builds an overwhelming board presence while generating more and more value every turn. Ancient Cornucopia and The Mind Stone help provide the resources needed to reach the late game, while Authority of the Consuls slows down aggressive strategies and gives us time to establish our position. And when the opponent finally tries to fight back, we have plenty of answers. Get Lost, Settle the Wreckage, and Day of Judgment make it extremely difficult for creature decks to maintain their battlefield. The real danger comes when the value engines begin working together. With Caretaker's Talent, Fountainport, Elspeth, Vivien Reid, and even Doubling Season in the mix, a seemingly harmless board can quickly turn into an army that completely takes over the game.
