Princess Catherine (Kate Middleton) was born into a middle-class English family.
-Catherine Elizabeth Middleton was born on January 9, 1982, in Reading, Berkshire, England. She grew up in a close-knit, loving middle-class family with her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her two younger siblings: a sister, Pippa, and a brother, James.
-Her adolescence was marked by a painful chapter: at age 13, she was severely bullied and isolated by classmates at the Downe House boarding school Downe House School. The intense emotional distress caused her to lose weight and develop skin issues, forcing her parents to transfer her to Marlborough College Marlborough College, where she rebuilt her confidence and became highly popular.
-In 2001, while studying Art History at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, she met Prince William. They started out as close friends and roommates before their bond blossomed into a romance. Following a brief split and years of intense media scrutiny, the couple married in a spectacular ceremony at Westminster Abbey in 2011.
-Today, as the Princess of Wales, Catherine focuses her royal work on early childhood development and mental health support.
-She and William have three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Deeply shaped by her own school trauma, Kate remains highly hands-on in their upbringing, choosing day schools over traditional boarding to ensure they have a stable, protected childhood.
