Family memories restored in this gorgeous 1966 GMC Truck!

This 1966 GMC is more than a classic truck—it’s a family story brought back to life. This GMC belonged to the current owner’s grandfather. Decades later, his granddaughter decided it was time to restore the truck as a tribute to her grandpa and the memories that came with it. She remembers learning how to drive in this truck and this steering wheel. She wanted to keep the wheel she touched way back when, so we did! Throughout the restoration, we wanted to improve the truck without erasing the details that made it special. One of those details is the original owner’s address, which is still proudly displayed on the truck’s dash today. Under the hood, this GMC now combines classic style with modern performance. A GM Performance LS3 6.2L produces 430 horsepower and is paired with a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission. A Be Cool aluminum radiator helps keep the engine running at the right temperature, while disc brakes add modern stopping power.
