It is famous for recreation and Bear Creek Canyon. Other interesting places in Tish County is Bay Springs Lake. This is a deep-water 6,700 acre reservoir on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway featuring 133 miles of shoreline! At this lake is Piney Grove Campground and beach with 141 camper spaces, swimming beach, playground, boat ramp, laundry. There are other boat ramp and swimming beaches around the lake. Iuka is located in Tish County and has a restaurant building for sale on the Main Street through town. They recently signed a new long-term lease, which means this property is income producing.
