MUSIC FOR KIDS (2025)

Music for Kids is a five-movement work for fixed media and mixed septet. The first four movements are inspired by Mother Goose poems. We recorded ourselves reading the poems and invited our performers to improvise in response to them. These recordings became the foundation of each movement, with the same sounds manipulated and reimagined in different ways throughout the piece. This project became a way for us to reconnect with the joy, spontaneity, and freedom of making music like we did as kids.
